Positive Affirmations for the Week

Hey Y’all, Happy Monday!! Are you excited to start a new week? I am definitely feeling like this week is going to be a very good one. A couple of weeks ago I mentioned using positive affirmations to start your day. If you missed that one you can check it out here: Getting & Staying Motivated. So, this week I thought I’d give you a list of some of my favorite affirmations as an ADHD Mommy. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I like to write my favorites on stickies and hang them on my bathroom mirror. I also recite at least one out loud while I’m doing something else. There’s something magical about hearing the words in your own voice. Give it a try, it just might change your life 😉. Well, here’s a week-long list. One for everyday… Enjoy!

Monday

I am not a quitter, I finish everything I start

Tuesday

I am a good mom and my kids are doing well

Wednesday

I am confident in my skills and abilities

Thursday

I deserve good things in my life

Friday

I am a beautiful, talented, useful, smart, motivated, giving, and successful person!

I saved my favorite for last. I used to tell myself the opposite of every quality I listed there. Take a moment today and examine the negative things you’re saying to yourself. Then do yourself a gigantic favor and turn Every Single One of those bad thoughts into good ones. Personalize your affirmation to what you need to hear. Then tell yourself how great you are every day.

Positive affirmations are a great way to combat life\’s negativity. I hope you’re having an A-mazing day! Remember, Monday is a fresh start. The best day of the week because you have the whole week to look forward to. You’re awesome and you’ve got this! Stay Positive, Stay Motivated, but most of all – have a HAPPY MONDAY! Until next time…
